Senior Cyber Security Consultant – Defence Sector

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are supporting a major player in the defence and security space as they expand their cyber advisory practice. They are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant with a strong background in Defence, particularly in MOD environments. The ideal candidate will be able to lead engagements and provide expert advice on secure architecture, assurance, and transformation strategies.

You will work closely with high-profile clients to address real-world cyber challenges across secure programmes. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to client sites as required.

CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of MOD Cyber/GRC practices, e.g., RMADS, Secure by Design
• Experience working with Defence Primes or directly with MOD clients
• Experience in security assessments, risk frameworks, and technical assurance
• Cyber vulnerability investigation and reporting skills
• Knowledge of cloud security, including architecture and compliance
• Experience with IAM, Zero Trust, or OT Security is highly desirable
