La Fosse Associates is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to oversee security across various business and technology projects. This role involves working closely with project teams to embed security throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary security representative, review solution designs, assess security risks, and lead penetration testing activities. The position is a 6-month contract, on a daily rate of £500-£550, with some travel required to Central London.

Cyber Security Consultant

• Day Rate: £500-£550pd
• IR35 Status: Outside
• Travel: 3 days a week onsite in Central London Office
• Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Work with a lean & evolving Cyber function to provide security oversight across a portfolio of business and technology projects, ensuring security is embedded throughout the project lifecycle from design through to delivery.
• Act as the primary security representative for business and IT project teams, partnering with stakeholders to review solution designs, identify and assess security risks, and influence secure decision making.
• Bring the technical depth to challenge solution designs, coordinate penetration testing activities, review test results, and validate remediation plans to achieve secure project outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience delivering security within project environments, with a background as a Security Consultant or similar role supporting cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
