About the Role
We're looking for a Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to lead the rollout of cyber security standards across our European manufacturing estate. This role focuses on NIS2 compliance and governance-not hands‑on IT-but requires strong understanding of manufacturing and OT security environments.

You’ll drive compliance plans forward, update risk assessments, and ensure regulatory requirements are met across multiple sites. Expect to work closely with site teams, escalate constructively when needed, and shape security processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement cyber security standards across European manufacturing sites
  • Support NIS2 compliance and regulatory change programs
  • Develop and update security policies, backup processes, and risk assessments
  • Drive action plans forward, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with works councils and site leadership to overcome roadblocks
  • Report progress and compliance status to manufacturing stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in governance and compliance within highly regulated environments (manufacturing, oil & gas, nuclear, utilities, public sector)
  • Understanding of OT security and manufacturing security standards (e.g., NIST)
  • Ability to manage complex compliance projects across multiple sites
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Driving license (essential) and willingness to travel across Europe
  • Languages are a bonus but not required
  • Rate: Up to £550/day (Outside IR35)
  • Duration: Minimum 3 months (likely 6 months)
  • Travel: European manufacturing sites
