Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking a Cyber Security Associate to join its Proactive Security function in London on a hybrid basis. The role supports Privileged Access Management (PAM) and broader security engineering initiatives to strengthen preventative controls, resilience, and risk management across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber Security or related fields.
• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management concepts and CyberArk technologies.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management, credential lifecycle management, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and enterprise networking.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, remote access technologies, and network security concepts.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud security experience (Azure, AWS).
• DevSecOps, secrets management, and CI/CD security.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience.
• Security certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or CyberArk certifications.
• Experience implementing and improving enterprise security controls.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Privileged Access Management, including CyberArk environments.
• Manage privileged accounts, service accounts, SSH keys, certificates, and application credentials.
• Design and maintain RBAC aligned to least privilege and Zero Trust.
• Support platform upgrades, DR testing, and service improvements.
• Develop automation to enhance onboarding, reporting, reconciliation, and operations.
• Collaborate with application and engineering teams on secrets management and credential security.
• Assist in designing and implementing preventative security controls across infra, identities, apps, and cloud.
• Support evaluation, integration, and onboarding of cybersecurity technologies.
• Work with tech and security teams on security improvement initiatives.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve security operations and control effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and recommend practical security enhancements.
• Support platform maintenance, resilience testing, and lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will support both Privileged Access Management (PAM) and broader security engineering initiatives, helping to strengthen preventative controls, improve cyber resilience, and reduce security risk across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Privileged Access Management

• Support and maintain a large-scale CyberArk environment.
