Change Digital – Digital & Tech Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Cyber Security Architecture Lead to drive security architecture and engineering, strengthening cloud security and embedding a Security by Design approach across the business. This senior leadership role shapes architecture, leads transformation initiatives, and develops a high-performing security function.

You will own enterprise standards, oversee SSDLC, and guide security across cloud, network, application and endpoint layers

Formación

• 5+ years' experience in technical security architecture and engineering within a global security function.
• 2+ years' experience leading a global security architecture and engineering team or function.
• Expert knowledge of security principles, architecture and technologies.
• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions, including cloud networking and operations.
• Experience with security automation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001/27002, NIST, OWASP Top 10).
• Strong understanding of emerging cyber threats and industry trends.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Microsoft E5/E7 security stack and related technologies.

• Lead security governance for AI technologies and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to global security strategy and investment planning, building the team.

Cyber Security Architecture Lead - Glasgow | Permanent (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

Change Digital are working with a leading international organisation to recruit a Cyber Security Architecture Lead to drive security architecture and engineering, strengthen cloud security and embed a Security by Design approach across the business.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced security professional to shape security architecture, lead technical transformation initiatives and develop a high-performing security architecture and engineering function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the definition, development and implementation of enterprise security architecture and engineering standards.
• Embed Security by Design across new programmes, projects and major technology changes.
• Provide security architecture expertise across cloud, network, application and endpoint security.
• Lead the development and implementation of a robust Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Contribute to Architecture Review Boards and Technical Design Authority forums, ensuring security controls are embedded into solution designs.
• Drive cloud security architecture, leveraging native cloud capabilities to strengthen controls and simplify the security technology stack.
• Enhance endpoint protection, monitoring, system hardening and data loss prevention capabilities.
• Identify emerging threats and technical risks, defining pragmatic remediation strategies.
• Lead security governance for AI technologies, working with stakeholders to identify risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Contribute to global security strategy and investment planning, while building and developing the security architecture and engineering team.

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years' experience in technical security architecture and engineering within a global security function.
• 2+ years' experience leading a global security architecture and engineering team or function.
• Expert knowledge of security principles, architecture and technologies.
• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions, including cloud networking and operations.
• Experience with security automation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001/27002, NIST and OWASP Top 10.
