Job description

12 month outside IR35 contract - *Must have current SC clearance*

My client is looking for a Cyber Security Architect who has a wide awareness across Government and Industry to include; Secure By Design (SBD), CISSP, HMG Information, Assurance Policies, Standards and Guidelines, including the Security Policy Framework, the CESG IA Portfolio and MoD JSPs such as JSP440, JSP604 (plus other standard MoD IA methods).

As leading players in MOD’s cyber security transformation to Secure by Design (SbD), we are looking for team members and leaders who share our vision that cyber risk management is driven by business requirements and a holistic view of security that can guide clients to secure solutions that support their business objectives.

What we are looking for:

  1. Provide Cyber Security advice and guidance for clients in ‘business as usual’, technical refresh and new project environments.
  2. Architect with High and Low Level Design experience (HLD / LLD).
  3. Be able to apply technical security knowledge, with creative and innovative thinking in a broad range of complex and non-routine contexts.
  4. Identify and establish good security governance to meet client business requirements.
  5. Use knowledge of Defence security policy and process to enable successful security outcomes of managed systems.

In addition:

  1. Ensuring the project is undertaken in a structured way that meets secure by design
  2. Risk assessments and mitigation strategy
  3. Secure architecture
  4. Security mitigation technical advice
  5. Supporting the cascade of any security requirements to the supply chain
  6. Support with the security through life concepts of monitoring, patching etc
  7. SWG engagement technical support
