Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Cyber Security Architect for a 12-month FTC to help teams build secure solutions without slowing innovation. You will work across security design, engineering and product teams to embed security from the start and influence risk decisions.

You'll bring strong architecture experience, certifications and a collaborative approach, supporting change programmes and protecting Aviva’s systems, data and services. This role offers a chance to shape security across a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cyber security architecture, security design, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of security, resilience, privacy, and data protection principles with ISO 27001 / NIST / Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supporting secure technology change and transformation programmes.
• Certifications such as CISSP / CCSP / CISM / TOGAF / SABSA / cloud security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance and risk management support.
• Help protect Aviva’s systems, data and services.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners and project teams to bake security in from the start.
• Support change programmes and multiple concurrent initiatives.
