Job summary

Clyde & Co in Glasgow seeks a Cyber Solutions Lead to define and implement security architecture across the business and technical landscape. You will champion Security by Design for programmes, projects and major changes, and help identify risks with remediation strategies covering network, application, cloud and endpoint security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical security architecture and engineering experience in a global security function.
• 2+ years leading a global security architecture and engineering function.
• Expert-level knowledge of security principles and technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions with a specific focus on cloud solutions.
• A sound understanding of ISO/IEC 27001/2, NIST and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with cloud networking architecture and operations as well as security automation and orchestration.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively at all levels.
• A sound understanding of the Microsoft E5/E7 security stack and associated technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide security subject matter expertise and consulting to all new initiatives to ensure positive security outcomes and secure design principles.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board and Technical Design Authority to guide security solutions.
• Lead the identification of technical risks and threats to network security provisions and define remediation strategies.
• Define, maintain and implement security controls and technologies across the firm.
• Shape cloud security architecture and supporting controls to embed security in cloud designs.
• Oversee endpoint protection, data leakage protection and security governance.
• Lead security architecture and engineering transformation projects and collaborate with cyber/IT teams.
