Purpose & Overview

REED Technology are pleased to be recruiting for an established organisation (circa 2000 users) who are recruiting for a new Cyber Security Architect.

As part of an architecture team you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust enterprise–wide cyber security architecture function and contribute to the development of a multi–year Cyber Security Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and embed Security Architecture Principles across all projects and changes.
  • Develop ISO27001–compliant Security Policies and an ISMS.
  • Create Reference Architecture and models for Identity Management and Privileged Account Management.
  • Contribute to the redevelopment and testing of the Security Incident Response Plan (Cyber IT and OT).
  • Support strategic planning for a rolling five–year Enterprise Security Strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define KPIs and produce monthly KPI reports.
  • Provide consultancy on security architecture for projects and programmes.
  • Establish a review process for new systems and significant architectural changes.
  • Align with the Enterprise Architecture team and support Cyber Security team processes.
  • Lead Cyber IT and OT projects.
Technical Skills & Experience
  • Use–case analysis and systems modelling using UML.
  • Security architecture modelling with ArchiMate or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with architecture modelling software (e.g., Enterprise Architect).
  • Familiarity with User Behavioural Analysis.
  • Experience in driving enterprise security maturity programs.
  • Ability to assess security controls using attack modelling methodologies.
  • Development of reusable security architecture components and patterns.
  • Drafting Security Solutions Design documentation.
  • Expertise in Identity Management and access models (SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, eIDV).
  • Strong knowledge of global security standards (ISO27002, CIS, NIST CSF).
