Job Title

Network Architect – Liverpool (Hybrid)

Overview

Leading teams that analyse, design, troubleshoot and implement network architecture to best meet client requirements, leveraging resources from different teams to ensure customer needs are met. Assist in troubleshooting complex data or voice network and hardware problems; research and analyse significant, complex network problems that require evaluation of intangibles such as downstream effects on client satisfaction; assess and evaluate current and future systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement secure network solutions, including routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex network issues and collaborate across teams for resolution.
• Evaluate and optimise current network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
• Present and communicate solutions to leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum CCNP certification in Cisco Routing and Switching (8200/8300 routers, Nexus N7/K/N9/K). Equivalent experience in Aruba switching AOS‑S & CX, Palo Alto Firewalls, PAN‑OS 10.x.
• Experience with AWS/Azure Cloud, Wireless LAN Architecture, and Cisco/Aruba Multizone, Aruba Central.
• Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, IPSec, VPN, VXLAN, NSX‑T, NAC, ZTNA, VMWare, Vx.
• Strong analytical, creative problem‑solving, and project‑management skills.
