A major water and sewerage service provider in Washington is seeking a Cyber Security Supply Chain Data Assurance Manager. This role involves managing vendor cyber risk and ensuring compliance with cyber security strategies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor assurance skills and regulatory knowledge, and the position allows for hybrid working. Competitive salary up to £63,500 depending on experience.

You will be responsible for managing vendor cyber risk and ensuring supplier compliance with our cyber security strategy and regulatory requirements. Working closely with our Cyber Security team, Data Protection team, Buyers, Category Managers, and the wider business, you will classify vendors by cyber risk, monitor supplier conformance data, and ensure contracts reflect appropriate risk mitigation. You will also support the development and execution of remediation plans, track risk events, and maintain accurate records of insurance, certifications, and training qualifications. You will report to the Senior Procurement Manager for Sourcing and Systems, and your work will directly influence the resilience and integrity of our supply chain.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about cyber security and already managing cyber risk within a supply chain context. You bring a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, vendor assurance, and data governance, and you are confident handling large volumes of sensitive data. You are skilled at classifying vendors by cyber risk, negotiating supplier contracts, and developing monitoring frameworks that ensure ongoing compliance. Your collaborative approach means you work effectively with Buyers, Category Managers, and stakeholders across the business. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you are ready to take ownership of cyber security assurance and make a meaningful impact.
