Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of cyber security remediation and uplift activities across infrastructure and cloud platforms.
  • Implement and validate security enhancements, configuration updates, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to embed secure‑by‑design principles.
  • Assist in vulnerability management, patching, and remediation tracking, ensuring risks are effectively mitigated.
  • Contribute to incident response improvements, threat detection, and security automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Other Details
  • Provide technical input into ongoing assurance, audit, and readiness reviews.
  • Maintain alignment with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and DORA where applicable.

    You’ll play a hands‑on role supporting technical delivery teams to enhance cyber resilience, align with best practice standards, and address identified vulnerabilities and gaps. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working across complex financial environments, with the ability to translate high-level security requirements into practical, actionable solutions. Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Engineer, or similar hands‑on technical role.

  • Strong knowledge of network, infrastructure, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Experience delivering remediation or uplift initiatives within banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations (DORA, PRA, FCA) and ability to translate these into practical implementation steps.
  • Working understanding of vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity security, and incident response.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Azure/AWS Security certifications are beneficial.
