Job summary

The Law Debenture Corporation invites applications for a Cyber Security Analyst role based in Greater London. You will implement, monitor and optimize security controls across email, web, endpoint and cloud environments, working with Mimecast, Netskope, CyberArk and Purview to protect client data and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will respond to security incidents, support ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials certifications, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure configurations.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Mimecast or a similar email security platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Netskope, including web filtering, CASB and cloud security.
  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk, including identity and privileged access management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, DLP and compliance tooling.
  • Experience responding to security DDQs and maintaining security evidence.
  • Experience supporting ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Strong understanding of UK cyber security regulations and frameworks.
  • Experience working in an FCA-regulated or similarly governed environment.
  • Preferred: experience with Rapid7 InsightVM or InsightIDR for vulnerability management and SIEM.
  • Preferred: experience with CrowdStrike or a similar EDR platform.
  • Preferred: experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity governance.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Azure and M365 E5 security features.
  • Preferred: experience using Microsoft Copilot and AI security technologies.
  • Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage and actively monitor security controls across email, web, endpoint and cloud environments.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using advanced threat detection tools.
  • Administer Netskope on a day-to-day basis, including website unblocks and policy updates.
  • Administer Mimecast on a day-to-day basis, including email review and release.
  • Administer CyberArk identity and privileged access management tooling on a day-to-day basis.
  • Administer Microsoft Purview, including DLP policy monitoring, sensitivity labels, Discovery Searches and compliance alerts.
  • Maintain and respond to security-related DDQs, keeping the security evidence library current.
  • Assist with compliance activities and audits for ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
  • Provide technical expertise on security best practices and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure configuration and data protection.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours support rota to provide cover for critical cyber incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of Technology team processes to ensure they are cohesive, efficient and effective.
  • Contribute positively to the Law Debenture culture, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently.
  • Abide by relevant regulatory rules in spirit and fact
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by the line manager and senior management team
  • Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the performance management process
  • Willingness to travel to other offices
