Job summary

Tria Recruitment is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst in the Greater London area, based at Wembley with a hybrid model (2 days on site). The role focuses on monitoring and responding to security events within a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment.

You will work across infrastructure, networking and cloud teams, investigating incidents, improving security controls and pursuing funded certifications including Palo Alto to enhance technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Engineer or SOC role.
• Hands-on with Microsoft security technologies, including Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Experience investigating and responding to cyber security incidents in an enterprise.
• Good understanding of cloud and network security principles.
• Willing to pursue funded certifications, including Palo Alto.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, triage and respond to cyber security incidents across a complex Microsoft environment.
• Monitor and manage security events using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Drive vulnerability management across cloud, network and infrastructure environments.
• Work closely with an external SOC and internal infrastructure teams to continuously improve our security posture.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of security processes, controls and incident response capabilities.

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Engineer or Security Operations role
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR
• Experience investigating and responding to cyber security incidents in an enterprise environment
• Good understanding of cloud and network security principles
• Able to work collaboratively across infrastructure, networking and cloud teams whilst taking ownership of security issues
• Keen to continue developing technically through exposure to enterprise technologies and funded certifications, including Palo Alto
