Salary: £29,000 to £31,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits
Location: Hybrid – 3 days at client sites or the City of London office (Faringdon / Chancery Lane EC1N) and 2 days from home
Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst with a passion for technology, problem‑solving, and continuous learning. You’ll play a key role in assessing client systems, improving security posture, and supporting compliance standards. You will conduct audits, create reports, and implement essential technical controls to strengthen client defences, working closely with stakeholders and translating complex technical concepts into clear advice that drives meaningful change.

DUTIES
  • Audit Client Systems – conduct security compliance assessments and identify improvement areas
  • Review Security Posture – engage with stakeholders to analyse risks and propose practical solutions
  • Create Security Reports – produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations
  • Implement Security Controls – apply cybersecurity measures across client environments, primarily Office 365
  • Run Awareness Programmes – deliver phishing tests and security training campaigns
  • Support Accreditation – assist with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, LOCS:23, ISO27001
  • Vendor & Insurance Audits – complete cybersecurity audit documentation and evidence gathering
  • Collaborate with Teams – work with technical teams to maintain secure systems and continuous improvements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
  • A degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in a technology, security or consultancy environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and cloud technologies
  • Foundation understanding of networking, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments
  • Team‑focused attitude and proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials or ISO27001 accreditation processes
DESIRABLE
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and scripting with PowerShell
