Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to strengthen client security postures and enable cyber resilience across critical sectors. You will deliver security assessments, provide governance guidance, and partner with stakeholders from engineers to executives to implement practical improvements aligned with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting cyber security maturity assessments and best-practice reviews.
• Strong understanding of recognised security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
• Experience developing cyber security strategies, governance frameworks or information security programmes.
• Ability to provide credible cyber security advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security maturity assessments and advisory engagements.
• Develop and implement security governance and improvement plans.
• Advise clients on cyber risk and protective controls across enterprise environments.
• Engage with stakeholders from engineering teams to C-suite executives.
• Support pre-sales activities and solution development for cyber security services.
