Job summary

BDO UK is seeking an Assistant Manager in Consulting Digital to support cyber risk advisory engagements. You will lead workstreams with a focus on governance, risk management, and control frameworks aligned to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and COBIT.

You will mentor junior colleagues, coordinate evidence gathering, and deliver insightful reporting to senior stakeholders while ensuring timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security, information security, technology risk, IT audit or operational risk.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT and CIS Controls.
• Strong organisation, project and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of cyber risk advisory and assurance engagements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and manage workstreams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Produce clear reporting for senior stakeholders and improve client controls.
