Job summary

Stagecoach Group is recruiting an Information Security Analyst to safeguard our network, systems and data against cyber threats. You will monitor traffic, respond to incidents, run vulnerability assessments, and support encryption and security tool deployments.

You'll work with security platforms like Tenable, Splunk and Microsoft Defender, while maintaining governance across ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and GDPR. Stockport-based role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CEH are advantageous.
• Experience with security monitoring and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security logs and network traffic with SOC colleagues.
• Respond to breaches, contain threats, and aid rapid recovery.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and pen tests using relevant tools.
• Install and maintain encryption and security software for data protection.
• Ensure alignment with GDPR, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001; prepare KPIs.
• Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with cyber threats and new technologies.
