Job Overview

PA is required to work with a 6‑year‑old autistic boy for 4.5 hours a week outside school hours. He has some mobility challenges and requires speech and communication support, including the use of pre‑made visuals to aid understanding and transitions. The PA will help him access a range of activities in the community and may need to collect and drop him off at home.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and drop the child at home if required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • No official qualifications required.
  • Desire to work with children and motivation to help the child achieve his best.
  • Reliable and able to commit to the same days/hours each week.
  • Preference for experience with SEND.
  • Access to a vehicle; mileage cost will be covered by the employer.
  • Suitable DBS check (cost covered by local authority/employer).
