Job summary

Hunter Hughes Recruitment Services is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop relationships with aerospace and automotive manufacturers across multiple UK regions. You will become a technical expert on cutting-tool range and work directly with customers to understand their machining and production requirements.

The role is consultative, involving collaboration with production teams to identify tooling challenges and opportunities for productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Comfortable communicating with engineers, production managers and senior manufacturing professionals.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites to visit on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with aerospace and automotive manufacturers.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts.
• Visit customers on-site to understand machining and production requirements.
• Recommend technically appropriate cutting-tool solutions and carry out trials.
• Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to completion.
• Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
