A leading global automotive firm is seeking a Customs Compliance Manager to lead compliance operations and enhance efficiency. The role is hybrid with 60% in office work, requiring strong analytical skills and significant experience in customs and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Certificate in Customs Compliance and a proven track record in driving improvement. A competitive salary of up to £70,000 along with excellent perks is offered.
Customs Compliance Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience
Company car and up to 5% company bonus
Location: Warwick, Hybrid Working (60% in the office) with occasional travel across the UK and Europe
Volvo Group Customs & Trade ensures compliance with customs rules and legislation while continuously improving and optimising processes to reduce customs-related costs globally. With around 100 employees worldwide, we bring together expert knowledge in customs regulations and trade compliance.
In this role, you will be Volvo’s main contact with customs authorities, explaining our standards and how we comply with applicable regulations. You will also lead or support internal and external audits and take responsibility for relevant certifications and permits. We work proactively to use trade as a competitive advantage and to capture opportunities across the supply chain. Combined with smart digital tools, this creates a strong foundation for success.
You have a strong background in customs, logistics or trade, with a track record of ensuring compliance and driving improvement. You are analytical, detail-focused and enjoy using data to create meaningful change. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing both internal and external stakeholders and thrive when working collaboratively.
