Job summary

A logistics company in Burntwood seeks a Customs Clerk to manage customs clearances for air, sea, and road shipments. The successful candidate will ensure accurate documentation and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications

• Solid customs knowledge for imports, exports, declarations, and procedures.
• Familiarity with NCTS, CDS, and Destin8 systems is beneficial.
• Understanding of UK/EU customs requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearances for a range of customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Calculate and process duties, taxes, and customs clearances.

Skills

Solid customs knowledge

Familiarity with NCTS, CDS, and Destin8

Understanding of UK/EU customs requirements

Awareness of freight industry operations

Additional language skills
