Customs Clerk - Remote (UK) | Merseyside HQ

Our client, a privately owned supply chain management company, is seeking an experienced Customs Clerk to join their growing team. The role is remote, with the business headquartered in Merseyside.

What you'll do

• Handle the full life cycle of customs activity from clearance through to delivery to the customer.
• Complete day-to-day import and export customs clearances and entries (CDS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Work with a variety of commodities across multiple modes.
• Arrange onward delivery and coordinate with hauliers, carriers and customers.
• Resolve queries quickly and professionally, keeping stakeholders updated.
• Build strong, effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.

What you'll bring

• At least 1 year's solid freight forwarding and customs clearance experience.
• Working knowledge of tariffs and Incoterms.
• Experience inputting customs entries into CDS (CHIEF experience also valued).
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
