A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Customs Broker to provide full customs brokerage services for a fantastic company based in Feltham, Ashford. The role involves creating customs declarations, preparing paperwork for exports, and coordinating transport logistics. Candidates should have customs experience and a good understanding of systems like Descartes and MS Office. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 with a Monday to Friday work schedule, and occasional weekend cover required.

Qualifications

• Previous customs, export, import experience is a must.
• Good understanding of customs systems, preferably Descartes, Conex, Boxtop.
• Good general IT skills and knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create Customs declarations ensuring correct codes used for import & export.
• Create transit documents and ensure compliance.
• Prepare paperwork for export including raising airway bills.
• Arrange transport for international and domestic.
• Cost and provide quotes for inquiries.
• Coordinate day-to-day schedule for drivers.
