Job summary

Co-op in Hall Bank, Pontesbury, SY5 0RF is hiring a Customer Team Member on a part-time contract. The role offers 13 hours per week with regular overtime, a 6:30am to 1pm shift pattern, and full paid training. The position may involve working in the post office, bakery, or assisting with online orders for home delivery.

Salary is £13.04 per hour. You’ll join a friendly team delivering essential services to the community, promoting Co-op membership and supporting local and national charities.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in-store bakery, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community
