Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members to join our local store. You’ll deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills, assist with post office, bakery, or online orders as required. You’ll help customers find what they need and promote Co-op membership.
The role includes full, paid training and part-time hours (12 hours per week) with regular overtime. Shifts vary from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends, with a focus on stocking, pricing and smooth daily operations.
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts from 6am, middle shifts, and closing shifts to 10pm. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
