Overview

Customer Team Member Responsibilities
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – you'll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events! As a Customer Team Member at Co‑op, you'll be part of a business that's truly different. There's lots to do in this role, with plenty to keep you busy during your shifts. From giving our customers a great in‑store experience to preparing bakery products and promoting our membership offer, every day is different. Customer Team Leader Responsibilities

You'll help maintain our high standards while supporting your store colleagues to be their best. You'll assist the Store Manager and make sure your store is always safe. You'll also take pride in keeping the store well‑stocked and looking great, leading by example and doing the right thing. If you're looking to build a rewarding career in retail, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Store Manager Responsibilities

As a Store Manager at Co‑op, you'll lead your team and make sure everyone works together to deliver a great in‑store experience for our customers. While the role comes with its challenges, with exciting opportunities for growth, it's one of the most rewarding careers in retail. You'll lead a large team of Store Managers across around 20 stores. You'll inspire your team to deliver a great customer experience, drive sales, and contribute to their communities. This is about more than managing stores – you'll help to bring our strategies to life through exciting projects and programmes.
