Job summary

Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members for our store in Ingleton (LA6 3EH). This part-time role is 16 hours per week with regular overtime and full training provided. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers on the shop floor and till, and support daily operations to create a great shopping experience.

Some shifts will be closing or on weekends. Pay is £13.04 per hour. Benefits include a pension with employer contributions, 31 days holiday (pro rata for part-time), 30% Co-op discount,

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Make sure the store is safe and compliant with relevant regulations (prices, dates, temperatures).
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.

Job description

Location: Main Street , Ingleton, LA6 3EH

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op, join us and play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in your local Co-op store.

As a Customer Team Member, you'll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your community every day. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
