Overview

Closing date : Customer Team Leader Location : 42-44 Market Street, Stockport, SK12 2DT Pay : £13.99 per hour Contract : 16 hours per week + regular overtime, part time Working pattern : varied shifts including early mornings (5:30am store opening), afternoons, late evenings (10.15pm store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

What you’ll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, working in our in-store bakery and often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
  • Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected
  • Make sure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers
  • Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store – work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
  • Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
