Job summary

Co-op Digital is seeking a Customer Team Leader for a busy Co-op store in Snaith, near Goole. You’ll lead a small team, manage opening, middle and closing shifts, including weekend work, and help deliver essential community services while championing Co-op membership.

You’ll be hands-on on the shop floor and tills, driving customer service, merchandising and stock accuracy to support store performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a fast-paced store.
• Ability to motivate and coach staff.
• Willingness to work opening/middle/closing shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members

Customer Team Leader

Location: 21 Market Place Snaith, DN14 9HE

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
