Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Work towards departmental sales targets alongside the Sr. Commercial Officer.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships.
  • Manage potential customer complaints and report on issues.
  • Relay technical information between workshop engineers and customers.
  • Gather information on pricing and performance to improve business.
  • Assist with contract queries, invoicing issues, and credit control.

About the Role

The focus of this role is on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and managing Customers to ensure compliance and the business secures value for money. To support business continuity this role will require from time-time, cross department functionality with the Procurement Team and the CSR will be required to step-in and support the Purchasing Teams in times of absence and or to support workload balancing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments, providing daily feedback and updates on open repairs through to order completion.
  • Work towards departmental sales targets alongside the Sr. Commercial Officer.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships, coordinate open orders, and maintain up-to-date order diary notes and customer status reports.
  • Manage potential customer complaints, report on internal quality issues, and provide feedback on any customer Non-Conformance Reports received.
  • Gain customer confidence and relay technical information between workshop engineers and the customer.
  • Evidence and report customer-induced damage, gather commercially sensitive information from customers on pricing, performance, and opportunities to improve and grow the business.
  • Advise and assist with contract queries, invoicing issues, and credit control.
Candidate Requirements
  • A high level of Customer Services experience with focus of delivering value, Supplier experience advantages.
  • Conscientious, confident and computer literate.
  • Well organised and articulate.
  • A good working knowledge of Industry, Databases and appropriate software packages which are used across MRO.
  • Right to work in the UK
