A local council authority in Bromsgrove seeks a part-time Customer Service Assistant to support customers with various inquiries, primarily regarding Council Tax. The role offers vital opportunities for training and development, requiring strong face-to-face customer service skills. The salary ranges from £27,254 to £29,540 per annum. We are recruiting for a part time position. Thursday and Friday 8.45 to 17.09.

The job involves a variety of functions, such as helping customers, both face-to-face and on the telephone, assisting customers with Council Tax enquiries and online forms, promoting other services and payment methods, assisting with modern development projects as well as traditional functions such as taking payments for services and helping customers who present to us in need at either Customer Servicer Centre at Parkside Bromsgrove or Customer Service Centre in Redditch.

Experience in face-to-face enquiries is essential for this role
A good knowledge of Council Tax and other council services would be desirable although not essential.
