Job summary

A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Corporate Support Team Assistant to join their team. This role, based initially in Warwick, requires excellent customer service and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Candidates should have five GCSEs, including Maths and English at level C, alongside knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The position offers full training, and candidates are expected to manage documents and provide a 'same day service'.

£25,989 - £26,403 per annum

37 hours per week – office based initially at the Warwick District Council offices in the Town Hall, Parade, Royal Leamington Spa, CV32 4AT. By 1 April 2026, the job will be based at Building 1, Saltisford Office Park, Ansell Way, Warwick, CV34 4UL.

Warwick District Council is seeking a motivated individual to work within the Corporate Support Team. The team aims to provide a “same day service” so you will need to demonstrate the ability to work under your own initiative, assess and comprehend written material and follow procedures.

This demanding role also includes the management of inbound and outbound post, deliveries, scanning documents and processing of payments.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate; however, we would prefer candidates to have five GCSEs (including Maths and English) at minimum level C and knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
