📍 You can work remotely from anywhere, though being home-based in the Midlands or East of England is an advantage, given travel to schools and local authorities.

If you’re an experienced educator who’s curious about stepping outside the traditional classroom to make a bigger impact, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’ve worked in alternative education, collaborated with local authorities, or developed deep expertise in special educational needs, this is your opportunity to take your skills and values into a new chapter.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll be helping children who can’t attend school due to illness or mental health challenges stay connected to their education and their friends. This is more than just a job. It’s a chance to:

✅ Make a tangible impact on children’s lives

✅ Contribute to a mission that tackles loneliness and exclusion head‑on

✅ Join a company where your work is valued, your voice matters, and your wellbeing is prioritised

And yes, when you’re in the office — the coffee and tea are free ☕️🫖

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be part project manager, part customer champion. In practice, this means..

  • You’ll help local authorities, schools, and trusts onboard and support their AV1 robots, ensuring every child gets the most from this life‑changing technology.
  • You’ll manage projects, set objectives, define reporting needs, and spot new opportunities for AV1 to support remote access to learning.
  • You’ll become the go‑to guide for customers, providing expertise on everything from product knowledge to implementation.

With your experience in education (and particularly in AP or SEND), you’ll bring credibility, insight, and empathy — helping customers see a real return on their investment, and helping us strengthen AV1’s impact across the UK.

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a perfect fit if you...

  • Are a senior practitioner in schools, APs, or similar settings
  • Are a qualified teacher educated to degree level
  • Have a strong understanding of UK education, especially in SEND/ or Alternative Provision sector
  • Care deeply about inclusive practice
  • Have experience working with (or alongside) LAs, MATs, or specialist school
  • Can build trusted relationships with ease — you’re charismatic, credible, and reliable
  • Are confident in presenting and engaging groups
  • Bring strategic thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive “can‑do” approach
  • Have experience using technology to drive change in education

  • Experienced team: Work in a high‑performing organisation with strong infrastructure and colleagues who bring deep expertise within their field.
  • Wellbeing & flexibility: Weekly wellness hour and a flexible hybrid setup to support a sustainable lifestyle.
  • Enhanced parental & sick leave benefits: More generous than the UK standard, providing extra support for family and health needs.
  • Generous paid annual leave: You get 25 days holiday + 2 PJ days + bank holidays.
