Overview

DNV GreenPowerMonitor USA Inc. seeks a Customer Success Engineer to work at our office in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Successfully deliver On-site Solutions (SCADA and PPC) projects, while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Create specific tools and automation processes, enabling us to deliver intelligently and uphold our position as industry leaders.
  • Act as direct point of contact with client for all operational projects and the internal customer advocate.
  • Act as subject matter expert regarding the company hardware devices, software tools, functionality, and customization capabilities.
  • Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer requests promptly via phone calls, video conferences, and email.
  • Organize customer training sessions to empower customers to be self-sufficient.
  • Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product/service features and to provide internal trainings to less experienced colleagues.
  • Role is hybrid allowing periodic work from home within reasonable commuting distance of the Austin, TX office.

Main Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a Customer Success Engineer, Key Account Manager, Operations and Maintenance Supervisor or related role in Renewables Energy Sector where required experience gained.

Special Skills
  • Assisting clients with technical queries and support requests related to renewable energy monitoring systems;
  • Working knowledge of prevalent North American inverter and wind turbine brands;
  • Understanding of SCADA and Data Acquisition Systems solutions;
  • Proficient in networking (IP, Ethernet, FO, Routing, LAN) and Industrial Communication Protocols (ModBus, DNP3, IEC104, OPC);
  • Reading, understanding, and editing electrical CAD drawings for renewable energy projects.
