Job description

We are looking to recruit a Customer Services Technician to join our team in the North East region. The role will see you carry out multi-trade remedial tasks in occupied/unoccupied properties in a safe, resourceful and workmanlike manner, and uphold the core values of the Miller Homes business in relation to the much coveted excellent levels of Customer Service we deliver being 'the face' of Miller Homes Customer Service in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out work diligently and safely in line with the company SH&E Management System.
  • To liaise directly with the Central Office Hub to provide status reports of on-going and completed tasks.
  • Always be of smart appearance and ensure having the relevant footwear, and protection appropriate to the task assigned to, prior to entering and working in occupied properties.
  • To obtain signed satisfaction/completion notifications from our customers following completion of remedial tasks, where possible. Experience in a similar role, ideally with another housebuilder.
  • Multi-skilled. To have a sound knowledge of joinery, general labouring and bricklaying, general plaster patching, painting and decorating.
  • To offer courteous, exemplary and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Able to form strong professional relationships and liaise regularly with different disciplines within the business to assist you achieve your daily goals.
