Job summary

A leading public service provider in the United Kingdom seeks a Customer Services Officer to manage Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support services. Contract: Permanent / Full time (36.25 hours per week)

Salary: 29,540 - 31,022

What you'll be getting up to
  • You'll be providing high quality services with excellent results for our communities.
  • You'll be undertaking all aspects of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support administration, including ATLAS, UCDS, VEP, HBAAI and complex case processing.
  • You will be working collaboratively with your team to meet targets and service standards.
Who we're looking for
  • We're looking for someone who has a strong understanding of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support legislation.
  • You’ll have experience of dealing with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support assessments and enquiries from all contact channels.
  • You’ll have an understanding of how technology and digital services can help provide excellent customer service as well as excellent IT skills.
  • You’ll be able to communicate effectively, work under pressure and respond flexibly.

This role requires a DBS check.
