Customer Services Advisor

Brighton Hospital | Sales and Business Development | Bank

£12.58 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Customer Services Advisor you will have proven experience in administration within a complex, fast‑paced environment, alongside strong call‑handling skills and excellent IT proficiency. Be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities and maintain a patient‑focused approach at all times. You will have the ability to provide a professional, courteous, sensitive, and empathetic manner, combined with enthusiasm, high motivation, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:

• Liaise directly with customers, answering all enquiries.
• Contribute to and manage local business development, marketing and communication initiatives to promote the services of the hospital throughout the local community.
• To handle customer enquiries (both telephone and internet), supplying potential customers with information about the services offered at the hospital.
• To support the Medical Secretaries and Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer requirements/queries are effectively dealt with.
• To coordinate customer journeys, ensuring that customers have a good understanding of the defined customer journey expectations including –

• Identifying all hospital areas which have customer touch points to ensure shared knowledge and understanding.
• Providing information required to enable other areas to respond to all customer enquiries to the defined quality and timeline standards.
• Collating information which effect or influence the customer experience.
• To introduce new processes to improve customer advise and service, as required.

• To support the definition, development, communication and implementation of business development and marketing plans and activities.
• To provide advice and guidance to other team members and the wider hospital.
• To develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To effectively and proactively develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To promote the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of national brand values and guidelines.

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will have:

• Proven experience in a customer service, sales or marketing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy.
• Good organisational skills.
