Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional service and manage customer orders across international markets. The role supports collaboration with Supply Chain, Logistics, Production and Sales teams to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service and order management, and can navigate multiple stakeholders with accuracy. Remote-friendly with a fixed-term contract and international exposure, offering growth and training

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Logistics, or a similar operational environment.
• Experience in an international manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution environment is highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, coordinating with Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure service delivery.

What will you do?

Deliver an exceptional customer service experience by consistently providing high-quality support and exceeding customer expectations.

You don’t need to come from a chemicals or manufacturing background — we’re open to candidates from other sectors such as logistics, FMCG, or similar industries.

• Communicating with customers and colleagues across different countries.
• Processing and managing customer orders.
• Providing updates on order status, shipments, and deliveries.
• Working closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, and Sales teams.
• Supporting quotation requests and customer enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.

Experience

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar operational environment.
• Experience working in an international manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution environment is highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required for success in this role. Additional language skills are welcomed and valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
• Good understanding of customer service processes within a supply chain and logistics environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
