About the Role

We’re hiring casual Customer Service Representatives to join our Modbury-based Federal Government support team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for customers — helping them solve problems, access essential services, and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Every interaction is unique. You’ll use your empathy, listening skills, and problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality experiences that truly make a difference.

Whether you bring experience from healthcare, customer service, hospitality, retail, or call centresor you are brand new to the industry — we’ll provide full training, knowledge resources, and ongoing leadership support so you can thrive.What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and processing items
  • Build rapport quickly while providing accurate, timely information
  • Identify and resolve issues by following clear processes and guidelines
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for customer satisfaction and service quality
What We’re Looking For
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
  • Team player who contributes to a positive environment
  • Empathy and patience, especially when assisting people in challenging situations
  • Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems (typing speed 20 WPM or higher)
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Previous customer service or contact centre experience is highly regarded but not essential — transferable skills are welcome; our training will set you up for success
Operating Hours

This is a casual opportunity, required availability is a minimum of 22.5 hours per week across our operating hours.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 7:00pm on a rotating roster with flexibility to support all of your out of work commitments.

Please note: Full time availability is required for the training period.
