Job description

The Guest Services team provides a first‑class front‑of‑house service for all customers and visitors to the campus. The front desk is operational from 7 am to 7 pm, so various shifts are available for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Liaison
    • Meet and greet campus visitors, checking them in for simulator training sessions, classroom delegates, contractors, and other visitors; provide directions and information about H&S and weekly fire alarm testing.
    • Operate the reception switchboard, handling all customer enquiries or connecting them to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
    • Operate the till on the front desk to process transactions for all purchases from the onsite Boeing store; replenish and order stock.
    • Prepare badges and paperwork for the following day's visitors students.
  • Security
    • Initial ID checks with all visitors to the Centre and issue security badges with correct access.
    • Operate the main car‑park barrier system using CCTV, and update server and security data tapes in line with IT requirements.
    • Oversee the locker and centre keys.
    • Assist with the weekly fire drill and safety testing.
    • Liaise with the Security Guards at the end of the afternoon shift to ensure they have all relevant information needed for their night shift.
  • General & Internal Relationships
    • Handle all internal enquiries/requests sent to the group email inbox or via telephone in a timely manner.
    • Daily check briefing and classrooms, providing necessary stationary as required and reporting any faults/problems.
    • Oversee and monitor stationery for the Centre, ensuring competitive quotations are sought when ordering and replenishing stock.
    • Raise purchase orders, request taxis and perform general filing duties.
    • Sort and distribute incoming post and fully oversee daily outgoing post collection including signing for all deliveries.
    • Document handover at the end of each shift for the next team member.
    • Other general administrative duties as required from time to time.
Qualifications

A smart, friendly, well‑organised, guest‑service focused individual is sought to complete our Guest Services team. You must have a five‑star smile and a warm welcoming and approachable personality.

Key responsibilities also include shift duties (Mon‑Fri) and working in an environment that requires leadership, relationship building, flexibility and drive.
