Role: Customer Service Representative

Contract type: Full time, permanent
Location: Crayford, DA1 4QX (Role will be hybrid after successful completion of probation 1-2 days from home)
Hours a week:35 Monday to Friday
Salary/Hourly rate: £24,500 (£13.46 phr)

Restore Datashred is a market-leading provider of secure document destruction services. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we are looking for a professional and motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will engage with internal departments and external customers to ensure queries are resolved efficiently, accurately and within agreed SLAs. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, supporting continuous improvement, and contributing to the achievement of departmental KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all queries are resolved promptly, accurately, and within SLA
  • Liaise with internal teams, including operations, finance and account management, to obtain information and resolve issues
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and changes are communicated proactively
  • Process customer orders and requests using internal systems and external customer portals
  • Handle and resolve complaints professionally, taking ownership to ensure positive outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes or service delivery, contributing to a better customer journey
  • Support new and existing team members through knowledge sharing and participation in training
  • Represent Restore Datashred professionally during customer meetings, both virtually and on-site when required
