Moffitt Services is looking for a Customer Service Representative. This person will focus on creating and maintaining superior customer service, both externally and internally by processing orders received from customers via telephone, text, E-mail or from a company employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process incoming orders according to customer specifications; communicate updates, relay changes, and resolve issues to ensure full customer satisfaction.
  • Enter orders accurately into database systems or complete necessary documentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, providing timely and appropriate solutions; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Identify sales opportunities during customer interactions and proactively follow up on potential leads.
  • Assist prospective customers with onboarding and order placement, guiding them through the process.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members and management in a collaborative team environment.
  • Protect client and company confidentiality by securely managing sensitive information.
  • Communicate with company branches and outside sales teams to provide quotes, shipping dates, and order status updates.
  • Use product knowledge to inform customers about pricing, availability, anticipated delays, and other relevant information.
  • Follow up on active orders to ensure timely delivery as promised.
  • Accurately calculate prices and shipping charges as needed.
  • Receive, document, and address customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, shipping, warehouse, and logistics teams to trace or expedite missing or delayed deliveries.
  • Respond to customer questions or direct them to the appropriate person or department for resolution.
  • Prepare, type, and file quotes; maintain accurate and organized records for all processed quotes.
  • Ensure quotes are completed and processed through the appropriate channels in a timely manner.
Education and Qualifications

At a minimum, a High School diploma plus some advanced education/training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess extensive experience (at least 3-5 years) in customer service/inside sales.

This position is not eligible for relocation.

Work Schedule and Benefits

This position is on-site Tuesday-Saturday. 10am-7pm.

Available to work 1 weekend per month for “On Call” program. Some overtime may be required during storm or emergency events.
