North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. We’re looking for another Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Services team; you will be working in our Customer Centre in the Belvoir Centre in the heart of Coalville. You will be joining a busy and friendly team providing both face to face and telephone help to residents in the district, covering the full range of services that the Council provides.
There may be the opportunity to work from home on a hybrid basis following your initial training and completion of competency checks. There is also the potential to progress to a higher graded Customer Service Officer, based on your capability where, if successful, you would deal with customer’s financial matters e.g. council tax and benefits.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can talk to people at all levels, has effective listening and verbal and written communication skills. You must also be passionate about and able to deliver excellent customer service to everyone you talk to.
