Qualifications

Job description

Pay Rate: £13.79 PER HOUR
Grade: RCS CA
Contract Type: Permanent (PART TIME)
Shift patterns: 20 HOURS PER WEEK - Rotational - 6 on 3 off - Early and Lates
Location: Luton Airport

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

What Does the Role Entail?
  • Checking passenger travel documentation at check-in area and boarding gate for acceptance
  • Representing the airline and providing an exceptional level of customer service, making the passengers journey positively memorable
  • Consistently delivering the highest customer service
  • Reinforcing rules for oversized luggage, ensuring the correct fees apply if the size/weight is over allowances
  • Assisting passengers during flight disruptions (delays, cancellations), overbooking and any other incidence
What We Need From You?
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in customer service desirable, preferably in the travel industry
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
Security Process to Work Within Aviation and Travel at DHL
  • Be able to provide five years address history
  • Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
