Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join a council client in Lincoln. In this role, you will handle enquiries across multiple council services including housing repairs and libraries, ensuring residents receive timely support. This temporary position offers £12.68 PAYE and £16.09 Umbrella pay rates, with 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Neway International are seeking a Customer Service Associate (Corporate Hub – G2) to join our client Lincolnshire County Council, based at the Customer Service Centre, Lancaster House, Lincoln.

Location: 36 Orchard Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1 1XX
Hours: 37 per week (Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, excluding Public Holidays)
Start Date: 08/12/2025
Duration: 4 weeks (temporary peak in workload)
Pay Rates: £12.68 PAYE / £16.09 Umbrella
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Client

Lincolnshire County Council’s Customer Service Centre is the first point of contact for a wide range of services including Adult Care, Children’s Services, Highways, Registration & Celebratory Services, and Library Services. The team delivers essential services that make a real difference to residents’ lives, from supporting vulnerable children and adults to helping with everyday enquiries such as library renewals.

The Role

As a Customer Service Associate within the Corporate Hub, you will be the first point of contact for District Council services (such as housing repairs) and other local services including Libraries and Heritage enquiries. You will gather and process information efficiently and accurately, ensuring residents receive clear, timely, and professional support.
