Hrstalentsolutions in Mansfield is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to guide customers to the current approved forms, explain submission steps, and answer online and email questions. You will not assess eligibility or approve exceptions.
This remote, part-time or full-time role emphasizes accurate form routing, keeping the form list updated, and noting when a customer needs escalation. You will work with the team to ensure customers receive the correct current form and clear next steps.
Customer Service · Forms Support · Remote · Part-time or full-time
Pay £24.75–£27.00 per hour
A customer can spend time filling out a document only to learn that the organisation has replaced it with a newer version. This role helps people find the current approved form and understand the ordinary submission steps. You would answer online and email questions, check the document list maintained by the employer and record when someone needs a more specific answer. You are not interpreting eligibility rules or deciding that an old form can be accepted as an exception.
Different requests may have similar names. A form for changing contact details may sit beside one for a new service request, and an older link may still appear in an email that the customer saved. First establish what the person is trying to do. Then compare that purpose with the approved forms list and send the correct current link or file. If two forms could plausibly apply, ask a short clarifying question or check with the form owner before giving a confident answer.
Your reply should include the approved route for sending the completed form, any published instruction about required fields, and a clear distinction between receiving a form and approving its contents. If a person has already submitted an old version, check what the employer’s process says happens next. The correct action may be to send a replacement form, attach the prior message to the existing case or refer the question to the reviewing team. Do not tell the customer to start over unless that is the confirmed instruction.
Consider a customer who cannot open the latest form on a phone. You might offer an approved alternative format or link and explain the normal way to submit it. If the problem affects the document itself, record the page and file name so the website owner can investigate. You are not expected to repair the file or make an unofficial copy in a format the organisation has not reviewed. Follow up on the customer question according to the team’s process rather than assuming that sending a second link has fixed the problem.
Another person may ask which sections to fill in. You can point to the current published instructions and explain their wording in plain language. A question about whether a particular answer qualifies, whether a fee can be waived or whether a deadline can be extended must go to the authorised colleague. This makes the role useful to the customer without putting decisions in the hands of an introductory support position.
Office administration helps the service stay reliable. You would record which version of a form you shared, note an outdated link you found and keep a reply connected to the existing request. If several customers encounter the same old document, a concise factual report may help the form owner correct the source. A good note names the location of the old link and the current approved form; it does not speculate about why the problem occurred.
You can start without experience in forms processing. The hiring company will teach its list of current documents, service categories and escalation steps. We are looking for careful reading, friendly written communication and the patience to check a source before answering. The work is remote and depends on online forms and shared records. A quiet home office and reliable internet connection are useful, along with comfort opening documents on a computer and checking that a link actually works.
The rate is stated above. The employer will confirm the hours and whether its opening is full-time or part-time. You will be supported in learning the role rather than being expected to know an unfamiliar set of forms on your first day. The aim is simple: a customer receives the current document and knows what to do next, while questions requiring a decision reach the proper team.
