Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Customer Services Assistant for Defence projects in Poole. This busy role is contracted to 17.5 hours per week across 50.2 weeks per year, suitable for a team player who enjoys delivering great service in a fast-paced catering environment.

You will prepare food, create displays, handle cash, and uphold food hygiene and health and safety standards while representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food-service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a busy environment with accuracy.
• Trustworthy with cash handling and POS.
• Willingness to follow food hygiene practices.
