A leading food services company is offering an exciting position for a Customer Service Assistant at Northumbria University's Coach Lane Campus. This 30-hour-per-week role involves delivering exceptional service, operating tills, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Chartwells, part of the Compass Group family, is excited to offer an opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join our vibrant team at Northumbria University's Coach Lane Campus.
This is a 30-hour-per-week role, working five days out of seven (mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend events), and is fixed-term until 31st May 2026.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operation-delivering outstanding service to students and university staff alike. You'll work across a dynamic catering environment that includes a popular high-street coffee brand, a modern hot-food servery, and convenient vending outlets.
