ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Customer Services Assistant in Grantham for a busy catering environment. You will deliver excellent customer service, help with food preparation, and support brand standards in a Defence-related setting.

The role is full-time, contracted to 35 hours per week and 50.2 weeks per year, with opportunities for progression within a company that values its people and diversity.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Creating attractive food and counter displays
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Handling cash and operating the cash register
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
